The terms and conditions offered here constitute the agreement between you and Warrington Taxis. Booking a taxi and using our services indicates that you have unconditionally accepted the terms and conditions as they are listed in the agreement.
1.1 The following terms, including but not limited to, "Warrington Taxis", "we", or "us" refers to the company providing the service. The terms including, but not limited to, "you", "your" or "yourself" can refer to any person, business or establishment making a booking with us.
2.1 You are responsible to allocate enough time for the journey to allow you to arrive on time. This includes, but is not limited to, airport and train station journeys where you are required to arrive for a certain time for your flight and/or train. We will not be held responsible for any delays that may be caused by your inability to allocate enough time to reach your destination on time.
2.2 It is your responsibility to order a vehicle of suitable size for all of the passengers and their luggage. Warrington Taxis makes no guarantee to carry an excessive amount of luggage. Be aware that a child, no matter the age of the child, will be regarded as a single passenger.
2.3 Anyone requireing a child car seat should request this at the point of booking, failing to do so may result in either having to travel without an appropriate child car seat or a new driver being sent out with a car seat. Be aware, a child car seat is not available at all times. It is your responsibility to make sure that one is available for your booking.
2.4 Any bookings made via the website or any of our social media platforms are not confirmed bookings. Bookings are only to be regarded as confirmed once we get in touch with you confirming that a booking has been made for you. Without having received this communication from us, a booking is not regarded as confirmed and as a result no taxi will turn up.
3 Prices & Payment
3.1 Warrington Taxis provides a quotation based on the information provided to us by you. All prices, unless otherwise stated, are exlusive of VAT and if this charge is applicable, this will be charged in addition. If there are any material changes to the initial stated itinerary, this includes but is not limited to, any extra drop-offs, we reserve the right to alter the provided quotation.
3.2 Our quotation contains a 30-minute waiting period after the stated landing time, and the cost of parking at the airport. Any waiting period in excess of this time will be charged at our standard waiting time rate, which can be found on our website. We will do our best to review flight details and amend our service accordingly incase of any delays, but we are not obliged to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting a quotation from us, you may receive a confirmation of the booking. Please take the time to review this confirmation and ensure that it is 100% correct. If you dont notify us, we shall not be liable for any delays or costs which may arise due to any mistakes.
3.4 Payment for journeys can be made via cash, credit or debit card. Please be advised that with some journeys, upfront payment may be required.
4. The Service
4.1 You are responsible for the behaviour of all the passengers who are on board throughout the duration of the journey. If the vehicle is fouled, damaged or negatively impacted on by any of the passengers, a charge may be applied to cover any cleaning or repairing costs.
4.2 You are not permitted to eat, drink or smoke in the car, this includes e-cigarettes.
4.3 It is your responsibility to make sure that all children in the vehicle are restrained in a manner that is appropriate to their height, weight and age.
4.4 We are not allowed to carry more passengers than that is stated by the licencing authority.
5.1 If you have to cancel your booking with us, you should contact us as soon as possible. If you do not cancel a vehicle until after it has been dispatched, a charge may be incurred and any future bookings from your address/telephone number will be rejected. The charge will be based on the time and distance covered by the driver to the point of cancellation.
5.2 If you have made a booking and cancel it before the vehicle has been dispatched, no charge will be made.
6.1 Whilst we do all we can to ensure that you arrive on time at your destination, we are not liable for any losses incurred due to delays that are beyond our control including but not limited to, traffic, accidents, breakdowns.
6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk and we are not liable for any damage incurred to any of the luggage throughout the duration of the journey as well as loading and unloading the luggage.
6.3 If the vehicle breaks down during your journey, we will do whatever we can to provide an alternative car to allow you to complete your journey as quickly as possibly as you can. Please be aware that in these circumstances you may have to resume your journey with a different company.
6.4 You will not indemnify Warrington Taxis for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses that arise from any omission or act from anyone in your party.
6.5 No party involved is able to exclude or limit their liability for personal injury or death which has been caused by negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation or wilful default, or for any other matter which is classed as unenforceable by all/any applicable laws.
6.6 In no event shall Warrington Taxis be responsible or liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations hereunder arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond its control, including, without limitation, strikes, work stoppages, accidents, breakdowns, acts of war or terrorism, civil or military disturbances, nuclear or natural catastrophes or acts of God, and interruptions, loss or malfunctions of utilities, communications or computer (software and hardware) services; it being understood that Warrington Taxis shall use reasonable efforts which are consistent with accepted practices within the taxi industry to resume performance as soon as practicable under the circumstances.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking, with immediate effect, if any vehicle or driver is placed at risk, whether through abuse, violence or damage, from you or any other passenger. There will be no refunds provided for any journey which has been terminated during the hire.
8.1 Warrington Taxis may subcontract their obligation as stated in this agreement. You will not assign, delegate or transfer any of the obligations or rights you hold, under this agreement.
